More About TimelyCare

What type of issues can I get help with?

TimelyCare counselors can treat a wide range of common conditions – including anxiety, stress, grief, depression, relationship issues and more. After talking with you, the provider will decide on the best course of treatment.

How much does it cost?

There is no cost to students enrolled at 17³Ô¹Ï or De Anza College. You will not be asked for credit card information or proof of insurance.

Is there any limit on counseling sessions?

You can have up to 12 scheduled counseling (one-on-one) sessions per year through Timely Care.

Can I still see a Psychological Services counselor at 17³Ô¹Ï?

Yes. You can choose to see a counselor through whichever service you prefer – TimelyCare or 17³Ô¹Ï's Psychological Services. We ask that you don’t use both at the same time. It can be confusing for you and the counselors if you are seeing two at the same time.

Will this count against the limit for Psychological Services counseling at 17³Ô¹Ï?

No. You can have up to 12 scheduled sessions per year through TimelyCare and up to 10 individual sessions per year with a 17³Ô¹Ï Psychological Services counselor. We ask that you don’t use both at the same time. It can be confusing for you and the counselors if you are seeing two at the same time.

Is there service available for international students?

TimelyCare is offered free to all 17³Ô¹Ï students, regardless of their legal residency. However, because of licensing rules, the TalkNow and Scheduled Counseling services cannot be provided if you are physically located outside the United States.

Important Note About TimelyCare's Medical Healthcare Services

For 17³Ô¹Ï students, TimelyCare ONLY provides psychological mental health & wellness services.

For other medical healthcare services, please contact our 17³Ô¹Ï Student Health Services Center.
