17³Ô¹Ï Campus Bookstore 

The 17³Ô¹Ï-De Anza Community College District has entered into a partnership with Follett Higher Education Group to manage and operate the Bookstore at 17³Ô¹Ï.

What Changed with This Partnership

Students will have better access to and affordability for textbooks and class materials. 

  • New, used, print and digital options
  • Rental program and price matching
  • An improved shopping and website experience 
  • Access to Open Educational Resources

Student FAQ

Will the store be open for in-store shopping?

In-person services will be limited and/or by appointment for online order pick-up, in-store shopping, and textbook buyback beginning Dec. 6, 2021. Please check store hours at  for further information.

How do I purchase my course materials online? 

The new 17³Ô¹Ï Campus Store website, , is now live. There are a number of ways for you to locate and purchase your course materials. Methods include:  

  • Links within your 17³Ô¹Ï MyPortal. (See "Follett" Bookstore tile). When you click on the tile/link, it will take you to a personalized page on the college bookstore website, specific to your class enrollments, where you can review and purchase all course materials.  
  • You will also be able to search for your course materials by class.

How do I purchase supplies and clothing online?

Can I purchase technology through Follett?

Can I rent textbooks at the bookstore? 

Yes. Textbook rentals will be an option for most adopted materials, and you can choose to rent when you are conducting your purchase on the website. A credit or debit card is required for collateral to rent books. To learn more about the textbook rental program and to pre-register to rent, visit the . 

How do I use my financial aid through the bookstore?

Starting Dec. 13, 2021, financial aid authorized for use at the college bookstore (e.g. EOPS textbook vouchers17³Ô¹Ï Promise, and other financial aid resources) will be set up as a payment type for students to use at the college bookstore website for winter quarter. We are working on this process. Your student ID number will be required to make a financial aid purchase on the website during the final checkout. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Because the Federal Pell Grant is provided to eligible students as direct assistance, it is strongly advised that you utilize this source of funds last if other types of financial aid is available as a payment type for your course materials.

If you have unused financial aid funds that were previously eligible for Bookstore purchases, they are being transferred to your account with the new store.

How do I purchase a Gift Card/eGift Card through Follett?

Gift cards are available for purchase through the  and will be available in store upon reopening as well. 

What is the shipping method and will tracking information be provided? 

All shipments will be made via UPS or USPS and tracking information is provided with the order confirmation email. Please note that the Bookstore will be providing free "standard" shipping for Winter Quarter 2022 course materials purchases (arrives in 4-7 days).

How long before I receive my online order?

Most shipments of physical materials will be received within 2-5 business days in the greater Bay Area. Expedited shipping is available for an extra charge. Most items will be shipped directly from your on-campus bookstore, but a larger product selection will be available online and could be fulfilled by another Follett location or directly from a vendor which could extend delivery dates. What is the general return policy?

All refunds or exchanges require a valid receipt or packing slip. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable.
Shipping and handling would only be applied to those orders shipped directly to a home or business address. It would be the manager’s discretion to process a refund for shipping charges.

Textbooks/Course Materials
  • Refunds are given for Course Materials returned before your campus-specific refund deadline*.
  • Course Materials purchased after the campus-specific deadline must be returned within 7 business days of purchase for a full refund.
  • Course Materials purchased during the last week of classes or final exams are not refundable.

Hardware & Software

Return unopened computer hardware and software within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. If shipping, packages should be postmarked within the 14-day period. Contact the store directly for alternate return options.

Other Merchandise
All other merchandise that is unopened and in original condition can be returned within 30 days of purchase.
