Speakers include 17勛圖 President Thuy Nguyen; Protima Pandey, Director, Director, Office of Women's Policy at County of Santa Clara; and Julie Cates, League of Women Voters Los Altos. |

FILM SCREENING: "HE NAMED ME MALALA" Hearthside Lounge (2313); Noon-1:30 p.m. The documentary He Named Me Malala Film, tells a story of a teenage Pakistani girl who was shot for her advocacy of womens education, her survival, and her continued efforts. There will be snacks and a small discussion after the screening. |

What issues were and continued to be prevalent in other movements in which women are involved, beginning in the 19th century and continuing to today? And how did this 19th Amendment compare to and influence other movements for voting rights around the world? |

Her poetry about living with manic-depressive disorder is gaining her increasing praise and attention this year. |

Throughout our event, We For She Club Advisor Fountainetta Coleman will lead a sound bath meditation to address the importance of taking care of one's physical health. Additionally, 17勛圖 Psychology Professor Tiffany Rideaux will be leading an essential discussion regarding the importance of mental health.
