Here are some thoughtful testimonials that our graduates have to say:

I am excited to have completed my BSDH degree through 17³Ô¹Ï as it has supported my career growth. I have been working non-clinically for a large dental device company and am glad I hold a BSDH degree to be able to pursue even higher level positions in the future.

The AS to BSDH program at 17³Ô¹Ï was a great decision for me. It has been a life-changing experience for me. I chose the 2 year program to be able to balance my time with family, work and school. The program helped me grow professionally, as it helped open doors that were not available prior to getting my BSDH degree. I am grateful for the support I received and opportunities that was made available during the program. I can definitely recommend this program to full time dental hygienists who wants to further their education while still being able to work full-time.
-Joel Paelmo Oliquiano, RDH, BSDH

I have had an amazing time in the AS to BS-DH program, both personally and professionally. I was forced to expand my knowledge and abilities through this program, which gave me more self-assurance and competence in my work. I intend to pursue additional specialization in the near future and may look into dental hygiene educational alternatives. My goal is to inspire other dental hygienists to seek further education and fulfill their aspirations in this fulfilling profession by sharing my story.

This program has been nothing short of a wonderful experience. I never thought that going back to school was in the cards for my future. Yet, because of this program and the flexibility that it offers, I was able to achieve this milestone career goal in one year. I completed this program while working full time and also caring for a young child. The courses in this degree completion program were challenging, but also served to enhance my love and knowledge for this career. If you've always felt the tug to go back to school, don't look past the AS to BS Dental Hygiene program at 17³Ô¹Ï - You wont regret it. You Can Do It!
-Katie Lynn Lien, RDH, BSDH

The program was very reasonable. It worked well between work. Most teachers were reasonable with homework and were very good about answering questions in a timely manner. I recommend to others.
Thank you.

This program and degree has been a dream of mine for decades. When I finally made the leap and got accepted, I felt excited and frightened of the unknown. The program impacted me by helping me to gain confidence in my abilities to learn and grow. Being a hygienist, I was familiar with life-long learning, but this was a new step. The professors were so helpful and gave great guidance. The brilliant teaching staff have been amazing to work with. I felt very supported by all of them. I am beyond honored to be a part of this amazing program and expand my knowledge. I have worked clinically for 27 years and it is never too late to continue your education! I plan to teach clinically and possible get my Master's degree. I would like to explore public health and work to help my community achieve better health. I have applied for a new position as a clinical instructor. I am currently waiting for an interview! I am excited for the next leg of my journey in oral health! It was a challenging process and I am so proud of the class and myself! We are always growing in the pursuit of improving our amazing profession! Thank you 17³Ô¹Ï Dental Hygiene RDH to BSDH program! I can’t wait to see what we all accomplish in the future!
-April Hoops, RDH, BSDH

This program has impacted me personally because I finally was able to reach a life goal of receiving my bachelor’s. Now that I reached my goal I plan to work both clinically and in education. During the program we learned new skills and I’m even considering possibly opening my own business in the future. Over all great program.
-Jessica Saucedo, RDH, BSDH

This program made it possible to complete my BSDH degree while working full-time. It has not affected my work at this point, and I am not sure how I will use it, but it expanded my skills and knowledge within my field. It was worth the time and effort.

I entered into the 1 year AS to BS completion program as a full time clinical dental hygienist and a mother to a young 5 year old child. I found that prioritizing my time and staying organized truly was the key to my success in this program. I set weekly goals for myself, worked ahead to stay on top of assignments, and kept on going. Now that I have completed this program, I plan to apply and begin a master's program in the Fall. I've always truly felt a tug to get into teaching dental hygiene so for my master's I am going to focus on education and public health to really help boost my knowledge and work towards becoming both a clinical and didactic instructor.

Even though it was hard to do this program while working full time, I feel I have learned a lot from this program. This program has helped me in treating my patients with more compassion and empathy. My plan is to look for a job as a clinical instructor in dental hygiene school after graduation. I haven’t started looking for that position yet but I will by the end of this year.
-Anu Preet Gadra, RDH, BSDH

Overall, I found the experience to be a good one. I felt it was very manageable with my work schedule. I felt I really learned to do good research and how to determine if an article has good research. I would like to pursue a career in biotech or pharmaceutical.
-Tracy Brown, RDH, BSDH
