Institutional Research and Planning

About Our Office

Who We Are

The Office of Institutional Research and Planning (IRP) serves as a primary resource in building a culture of evidence, as well as bringing statistical and social science research methods on the institutional data found throughout the 17³Ô¹Ï-De Anza Community College District.

What We Do

Our office conducts research, plays leadership and consulting roles, and serves as a steward for the institution’s official statistics.

We support 17³Ô¹Ï in providing information that leads to thoughtful and purposeful decision-making toward equitable student success/outcomes and overall college planning.

Our Goal

To meet the needs of the 17³Ô¹Ï community by conducting research, providing reports and institutional data to be used for inquiry, analysis, and decision making.

Research Requests

To support a culture of evidence, inquiry, analysis, decision-making, and continuous improvement, our office provides research services upon request from college offices and programs. See how to make a  research request

Please submit all requests as early as possible so that we can do all we can to assist you.
