Spring 2025 Dates & Deadlines
Spring Quarter 2025 runs Monday, April 7–Friday, June 27. Registration begins Feb. 18, 2025.
Apply & Register for Spring Quarter
Feb. 3, 2025: Apply for admission if you are a new student to 17³Ô¹Ï or a returning former student.
Feb. 15, 2025: Last day for international students to apply.
January 27: Schedule of classes.
Feb. 18, 2025: Priority registration begins.
April 7, 2025: Spring Quarter begins.

Course Registration Dates Based on Priority Enrollment
NEW STUDENTS: All steps must have been completed to receive priority registration for spring Quarter.
CONTINUING STUDENTS: You must have enrolled during Winter Quarter to qualify for the best date for Spring Quarter.
In accordance with new state and local regulations, students will be assigned registration dates in the following order.
Priority registration is set up for First-Time college students with a goal of obtaining
their first degree or certificate. You will not be able to receive priority higher
than Group 6 if you've previously attended college or a university and/or received
a degree.

Feb. 18–April 6: Veterans, Foster Youth, DSPS, EOPS and CalWorks students who have completed orientation, assessment and an educational plan; have selected an educational goal of transfer, degree or certificate; and have declared an academic major. *exceptions apply* |
Feb. 20–April 6: Athletes who have selected an educational goal of transfer, degree or certificate; and have declared an academic major and have an updated education plan. |
Feb. 24–April 6: Continuing students who have selected an educational goal of transfer, degree or certificate; updated education plan and have declared an academic major. |
Feb. 25–April 6: New, fully matriculated college students who have completed orientation, assessment and an educational plan; selected an educational goal of transfer, degree or certificate; and declared an academic major. |
Feb. 26–April 6: New, non-matriculated college students who have selected an educational goal of transfer, degree or certificate; and declared an academic major BUT have not completed assessment, orientation or an educational plan. |
Feb. 27–April 6: Transfer students (from any other college) and returning students (who have completed one term at 17³Ô¹Ï) who have selected an educational goal of transfer, degree or certificate; and declared an academic major. |
Feb. 28–April 6: All other college students, including continuing students, who have not declared a major or who have not selected an educational goal of transfer, degree or certificate; who have completed more than 100 degree-applicable units; who hold a degree; and/or had two terms on academic probation. |
March 3–April 6: Dually-enrolled high school students who are freshman, sophomores, juniors or seniors or meet other criteria to attend 17³Ô¹Ï. |
Paying Your Fees
Reminder: Payment in full is required at the time of registration and when adding subsequent classes. You may enroll in an installment payment plan via your account.
TBD: Drop for nonpayment on cumulative fee balances of $250 or more will occur by end of day.
Adding Classes After the Quarter Begins
- You can add a class with an instructor's add code/permission during the first two weeks of the quarter only.
- When you add classes, you must pay all fees at the time of registration.
- You will not be permitted to submit add codes after the end of the second week. Plan accordingly.

- Note: Deadlines listed below are for standard 12-week classes.
- Please View Your Class Schedule inside for add/drop deadlines for your non-standard length classes.
- All deadlines are enforced.
Monday, April 7: First day of Spring Quarter 2025 |
Friday, April 18: Last day to add 12-week, quarter-length classes. Add date is enforced. |
Sunday, April 20: Last day to drop for a full refund or credit (for 12-weeks, quarter-length classes). Last day to drop for a refund/credit for all other classes is listed inside , under Student Registration App > Registration Tools > View Your Class Schedule. Drop date is enforced. |
Sunday, April 20: Last day to drop 12-week, quarter-length classes with no record of grade. Drop date is enforced. |
Date TBD: Deadline to petition for spring associate degree to be included in Commencement 2023 printed program. See more graduation information. |
Friday, May 30 Last day to drop with a "W." Withdraw date is enforced. |
Friday, May 30: Last day to petition for spring associate degree or certificate. (Please note deadline above for participation in commencement ceremony.) |
Saturday-Monday, May 24-26: Memorial Day Weekend (college closed) |
Thursday, June 19: Observance of Juneteenth Holiday (college closed) |
Tuesday-Friday, June 23-27 Final exams |
Friday, June 27: Last day to request pass/no pass grade. You can request a P/NP grade through the completion of the course. You may complete the request using the . Once the request is made, you cannot revert to a letter grade. We highly recommend you speak with a counselor before making the change to P/NP. |
Friday, June 27: Last day of Spring Quarter |
Friday, June 27: Commencement Ceremony |
