Comprised of 17³Ô¹Ï faculty, staff, and administrators, Organización Latino Americana (OLA) fosters the academic success of 17³Ô¹Ï students of Latino descent through community building, advocacy, and the facilitation of support services. In addition, OLA promotes the awareness of diverse Latino culture and heritage.

2025 Tamales Fundraiser
Every year, Organización Latino Americana (OLA) hosts a Tamale Fundraiser to raise money for our student scholarships. This beloved tradition brings our community together to enjoy delicious homemade tamales while supporting the academic success of Latine students at 17³Ô¹Ï. Every purchase helps fund scholarships that empower students on their educational journey. Thank you for your support!
2025 OLA Scholarship
Organización Latino Americana (OLA) fosters the academic
success of 17³Ô¹Ï students of Latino descent through
community building, advocacy, and the facilitation of support
services. OLA is now accepting applications for its annual OLA
scholarship. OLA believes in the success of all students and wants
to support students in their journey towards excellence.
Deadline to Apply: Friday, April 11, 2025
October is Latinx Heritage Month
During the month of October, 17³Ô¹Ï students, led by an O.L.A. advisor, create and present programming that highlights the diversity of Latino/a culture, including their unique issues and challenges, as well as their achievements and contributions within the United States context.
