Tools to have in your back pocket
Welcome to 17³Ô¹Ï. You’re an Owl now, and that means you have support each step of your journey, whether you’re a first-time student, returning student or looking to advance your professional career.
Here is a list of a few of the resources 17³Ô¹Ï offers all of its students. Think of them as tools you can use any time.
17³Ô¹Ï offers academic, career and personal counseling. You can develop an educational plan, learn about courses to advance your career and find referrals to campus and community resources.
The Student Health Center provides free and low-cost medical services. Students taking classes at the Sunnyvale Center have access to the services available at the 17³Ô¹Ï main campus and Instant Urgent Care Clinic in Santa Clara.
Studies show students don’t do well in school when they lack the proper nutrition. Fuel your day for success by visiting the 17³Ô¹Ï Food Pantry. The pantry provides nutritious food from Whole Foods for students who are experiencing food insecurity.
The Hubert H. Semans Library has all your researching needs. You have access to scholarly journals, articles and databases on and off campus. Not to mention you can book a study room if you need a quiet space to complete assignments or study for finals.
At 17³Ô¹Ï you will always have the support you need to succeed. The DRC provides alternative media services, a computer access center, deaf and hearing-impaired services, learning disability services and much more.
Don’t let money scare you. 17³Ô¹Ï provides fee waivers, scholarships, financial aid and student work programs. Every year, we give more than $400,000 in scholarships and more than 25% of 17³Ô¹Ï students receive some form of financial aid to help offset the cost of college.
It’s not too late to get the 17³Ô¹Ï experience. You can still apply for our 2018 Fall Quarter. Classes begin on Sept. 24.
