LGBTQ+ Annual Pride March
11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Meet at Cesar Chavez Plaza for our annual 17勛圖 Pride March by 11:30 a.m., when we will walk to the LGBTQ+ Inclusive Flag Raising Ceremony at the FHDA District Office, which begins at Noon.

Join us in celebrating PRIDE for all at 17勛圖-De Anza's second annual LGBTQ+ Inclusive Flag Raising Ceremony. Together with students, faculty, staff, administrators, and community members; we celebrate inclusion, unity, awareness, wellness, and equity for all.
Reception with appetizers and beverages to follow indoors in the District Office's lobby.

Learn about mental health issues affecting LGBTQI+ students.

Artist Talk with Jamil Hellu
Noon-1 p.m.
Artist talk with lens-based artist Jamil Hellu, whose work focuses on the fluidity
of identity, cultural heritage, and queer representation, often pointing to the tensions
found in the evolving discourse about sexuality.
GSA Clothing Swap and Upcycle
Noon-4 p.m.
Library Quad
Swap and upcycle clothes or accessories that no longer bring you joy but may bring
joy to somebody else. Workspace available to do minor repairs, alter clothes, and
elevate your look sustainably.
Donate unwanted items in the rainbow bins around campus this week, and then come to
the swap and pick out something new!

Any remaining items after the swap will be donated locally. Happy Pride!

GSA Pronouns Workshop
10-11:30 a.m.
Library Quad
A workshop designed to educate students (staff are also welcome) on pronouns through interactive sessions. The workshop utilizes flexible learning by offering short stations that can be visited in any order, catering to students at different learning stages. The stations range from beginner level, introducing pronouns and providing examples, to advanced level, which focuses on more complex concepts such as neo-pronouns and advocacy. The workshop is inclusive, targeting not only the LGBTQ+ community to promote self-advocacy, but also educating students on how to become better allies. Breakfast food and beverages provided!

Join ASFC & 17勛圖 GSA for our first ever Lavender Graduation! This event will celebrate the achievements of graduating members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Those who register by Friday, June 16, will receive a special lavender stole at the event.

Join us for our end of Pride Month on a sweet note! Take some time to unwind and socialize before finals week. Have an ice cream sundae, an ice cream float, or popsicle and beat the heat. There will be ice cream with toppings, music, and gratitude stations. All members of the 17勛圖 community are welcome, and we especially encourage members of the LGBTQ+ community to come and celebrate with us!
