Education I earned a BA in Theater (University of Texas at Austin) and have written, directed,
acted and produced plays in Austin, Seattle and San Francisco. I'm also obsessed with
movies, most notably horror and sci-fi. In 2022, I decided to work towards an AS in
Film, TV and Media Studies here at 17³Ô¹Ï and looking forward to graduating in Spring
2025.
Every Day is Halloween In my free time, my hobby is Halloween, and I took all the skills learned from theater
and film to create elaborate, award-winning Halloween displays on my front lawn, every
year since 2009. Woodworking, electrical, engineering, painting, staging, set design,
lighting, projections, prop construction, communications, promotion, marketing, social
media marketing, photography and film production are some skills I’ve utilized to
make my macabre visions to life.
To document all my wicked work, I created a website to archive videos, photos, project
how-tos, and more. I’ve connected with many "haunters" through this site to share
ideas and techniques, made guest appearances on a few podcasts, and made good fiends of a like mind. It's a lot of fun and suprisingly, a year-round hobby!
