Campuswide Power Shutdown on Aug. 10 

All power on campus will be shut down for maintenance on Friday, Aug. 10. If you must be on campus that day, please contact Jennifer Mahato or Brenda Davis Visas immediately. 
New Governance Structure

The new governance structure will include a Facilitation Corps that works together to set agendas, prepare background materials, guide the conversation and draft minutes. The facilitation team consists of 17勛圖 employees:

Welcome Our New Facilities Rental Coordinator

Welcome Shawn Viaggi, our new Facilities Rental Coordinator! Shawn previously worked in the Visual Performing Arts Center at De Anza, and served as the interim Facilities Rental Coordinator for the past three months. 
He will handle scheduling for both the Fine Arts Facilities as well as general rental (everything else!). If you haven't met Shawn yet, please stop by Building 1900, Office 1926, and say hello.

About the Equity Summit
The Equity Summit is a FREE full-day experience designed to engage faculty, staff, administrators, and community organizers in a teaching and learning experience centered on Educational Equity.
 
The experience provides participants an opportunity to be informed about pedagogical practices that enhance student success and address the educational opportunity gap. The program format consists of six Equity Talks, two panels, and a Keynote Address by Award Winning Author and Historian, . 
This is a free event. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
